“All of Us picks up where Healing America’s Narratives left off in 2022. With 21st-century autocrats, oligarchs, and kleptocrats running rampant over an 18th-century constitution amid a global metacrisis that touches each of us, the United States of America needs to evolve. Individual development and systemic change are required. This book is a solid starting point for recognizing and understanding the intersections of relevant history, psychology, politics, and spirituality necessary for an emerging democracy. A democracy that is not guaranteed to survive.”

Notes
From the Introduction:
“As you know, the democratic infrastructure of the United States of America is under attack. It has been an imperfect infrastructure since its inception, and the current regime is choosing to exploit, deepen, and broaden the imperfections.
….
“In order for the United States to grow into a democracy that is truly of, by, and for all the people, and not run by unhealthy, arrogant, and/or financially powerful individuals, corporations hiding behind the rights of human beings, and foreign investors, the American people need to grow and develop in various areas that include but are not limited to:
- A good-faith embrace of history that neither denies the worst or ignores the best of the nation and its people. This includes, but is not limited to the foundational subjugations of women, Native Americans, and Africans/African Americans, and numerous ongoing subjugations that followed.
- An understanding of the very real impacts of developmental worldview, as captured by this four-level shorthand: it’s all about me, it’s all about us, it’s all about all of us (humans), and it’s all about all that is.
- An awareness and understanding of the cultural givens that each of us receives in childhood from our families, communities, and cultures of origin.
- An understanding of shadow—what we deny about ourselves and project onto others—both individually and collectively.
- A basic knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, its history, its brilliance, and its flaws.
- A basic knowledge of the history and current truths about voting in the United States.
- The relationships among Project 2025, the Christian Right, Donald Trump, and money.
- Curiosity about and ongoing explorations of questions like, Who am I, really? How do I choose to be? Who are my people? What am I not seeing? and How am I in relationship with life? There are more. These will suffice for now.
- An awareness of the metacrisis, a cascading series of crises—many of which you’re aware of—that can appear unrelated, but that at a deeper level are inti-mately related at the very least by underlying struc-tures built and perpetuated by the same habits of mind.
- How the democracy of the United States currently ranks among other democracies on the planet, and why.”
